Gorgeous vintage Sailor’s Farewell jug from the Gray’s pottery in Stoke on Trent dating from the 1940s. 12 cms high.  Lovely nickel gilding.  Beautifully touching verse on one side. “The sailor los’t in stormy seas, Though far his bark may roam, Still hears a voice in every breeze, That wakens thoughts of home.”
